5th in the series of LOTR pipes, this is indeed one fine pipe. With smooth faces on the both sides of the bowl, with plenty of texture and birds eyes, this pipe is a pleasure to hold.
Featuring long bamboo stem for the coolest and driest of smoke, and as all the Hobbits tell me, this pipe is indeed pleasure to smoke. The bamboo is natural and un-lined to absorb the moisture from burning tobacco.
Well balance pipe and light for its size and fine addition to your existing LOTR collection or to smoke on its own...

I received my 2nd Jan Zeman pipe a couple of weeks ago; I had to have a pipe while sitting around watching Lord of the Rings. I had heard the long bamboo would deliver a cool smoke, I can certainly concur. It is well balanced, sits very nice in the hand, light as a feather. Pre-coated for easy break in, looks exactly like the picture even though I know Jan just carved it before he sent it. A man of many talents, and a very kind gentleman. Thanks Jan for everything. Last week I recieved my 7 th Jan Zeman pipe...the Baranor. Iwas previosly a little reluctant to try one of the LOTR Pipes [Ultra Conservative],but Jan con vinced me that the Bamboo extended stem would result in a great cool smoke. What an understatement.I have smoked the Baranor extensively for the past week,and can only say that this is the coolest smoking pipe Ihave in my collection.it is a superb piece of work. in addition to this great new Pipe,Jan has also restored the stem on an old favourite Dutch pipe by hand carving a new Ebonite stem for me. Not only a great Pipe designer,but a great restorer as well. Terrific work Jan,and as always,a pleasure to work with. regards Murray
